Gemstone Prices and Lab Reports in Bangalore: A Quote Checklist
Compare gemstone prices by comparing the actual items and what each quotation includes. A single per-carat number for “Pukhraj”, “Neelam” or “natural gemstone” leaves out material identity, treatment, dimensions, condition and the assembly being sold. This guide provides a quote checklist rather than an unsupported city-wide price table.
Make the comparison like for like

Per-carat price is a calculation, not a quality conclusion
For a loose stone quoted by weight, dividing its stone-only price by its carat weight can help you compare quotations. Keep making charges and other components separate. Two equal-weight stones can differ in dimensions, appearance and disclosures; equal per-carat prices do not establish that they are equivalent.
Carat is a weight unit, while millimetres describe size. If a quote uses ratti, ask which conversion is being used and retain the measured weight on the report. Do not assume every seller uses one retail conversion. See the weight and size guide.
What does the included certificate establish?
Every Omm product includes a DGTL Gem Lab certificate. Match it to the item through its number, description, photograph and measurements where recorded. Read the comments and limits rather than treating the word “certified” as a universal guarantee.
Special treatment reports and geographic-origin testing are arranged separately on request. Some item statements have supporting supplier records; ask which evidence supports the exact statement you are considering. An identification report that does not state a treatment conclusion should not be read as an “untreated” result.

Origin and treatment need precise language
A country in a supplier's sourcing description is different from a geographic-origin opinion established by an appropriate laboratory examination. Ask which meaning is intended. Likewise, “unheated” concerns heat treatment; it is not automatically an answer about every other treatment or enhancement.
Keep the disclosed treatment, its supporting evidence and care instructions with your invoice. Request additional examination before purchase if a particular finding is essential to your choice. The origin guide and treatment guide provide separate checklists.
Check a discount without assuming fraud
A discount label alone cannot tell you whether a quotation is fair or a product is misrepresented. Compare the final payable price, the actual item and the written terms. Ask what the reference price refers to and whether the offered version has changed.
Do not infer that every local retailer has the same overheads, that online prices must be lower, or that a particular neighbourhood proves a seller is genuine or dishonest. The strongest comparison is the documented offer in front of you. A very high price is not proof of identity either.
A short message you can send before ordering
“Please confirm the item reference, availability, material identification, carat weight and millimetre dimensions. Which evidence supports the treatment and origin statements? Please show the corresponding report and quote the complete price, including the work requested, taxes, testing and delivery where applicable. Please also confirm the return conditions before custom work.”
