2. Our 5-Step Verification Protocol

Before any Rudraksha is approved for our store, it must pass a strict series of physical and scientific tests:

• Microscopic Surface Inspection: We use high-magnification loupes to examine the Mukhis (lines). Natural lines run deep and seamlessly like human fingerprints, whereas fake, carved lines show sharp, unnatural edges and sawdust residue.
• The Boiling Test for Tampering: To catch tampered beads—where extra faces are glued on to artificially increase the Mukhi count or conceal damage—we subject samples to a boiling test. Natural beads remain intact and simply become cleaner, while artificial glue dissolves, exposing the counterfeit.
• Density & Weight Profiling: A healthy, fully ripe natural Rudraksha generally sinks in water, whereas unripe or synthetic beads often float. We also check for unnatural heaviness, which can indicate that a bead has been injected with lead to fake the feel of a dense, premium bead.
• Internal Compartment (X-Ray) Testing: The most definitive test for rare, higher-Mukhi beads (like 10-Mukhi and above, or Gauri Shankar) is the X-Ray. A genuine Rudraksha has the exact same number of internal seed compartments as it does external lines. Our X-Ray analysis ensures the internal structure matches the exterior perfectly.
• Third-Party Lab Certification: We don't just ask you to take our word for it. Our premium Rudrakshas and gemstones are sent to independent, government-approved gemological and botanical testing laboratories. They undergo rigorous scientific analysis and are issued an official Certificate of Authenticity.
