1 mukhi rudraksha

Hi All,

I have come across numerous documents online describing 1 Mukhi Rudraksha. Many sources do not clearly differentiate the powers of Chandrakar (half-moon) Ek Mukhi and Round Ek Mukhi Rudraksha. I understand there should be some difference in the energy or spiritual effects between the two types of beads. Specifically, I would like to ask about the Chandrakar Ek Mukhi Rudraksha, as it is widely available at a lower price. What type of powers does Chandrakar Ek Mukhi have, and is it suitable for everyone to wear?

Nowadays, the term 1 Mukhi Rudraksha often refers to the Chandrakar (half-moon) variety due to the rarity of the round 1 Mukhi bead. The Chandrakar bead has many of the same powers as the round Ek Mukhi Rudraksha, but it may not produce the exact same effects. The energies are similar to some extent, but differences exist.

Chandrakar beads may also have effects that are more difficult to understand, so it is recommended to seek guidance before wearing a 1 Mukhi Chandrakar Rudraksha.

The Ek Mukhi Chandrakar Rudraksha comes from a species related to the original Rudraksha tree. It is a cost-effective replacement for the expensive round 1 Mukhi bead. Different varieties of Chandrakar beads exist with slightly varying powers.

Many people report that Chandrakar beads provide similar benefits to round 1 Mukhi Rudraksha and can be used for general purposes. Some individuals may feel mild uneasiness when wearing Chandrakar beads, but this does not indicate harmful effects—it simply may not suit certain individuals.

There are three main types of 1 Mukhi Rudraksha available in the market:

1. From Indonesia – costs approximately ?1–2 lakh.
2. From Nepal – rare and extremely costly, around ?18 lakh if available.
3. Chandrakar Rudraksha (half-moon) – a substitute for the round bead; many recommend wearing 12 Mukhi Rudraksha instead, as Chandrakar may be less powerful.
