Rudraksha beads can generally be worn throughout the day. When washing, avoid using soap, as it may dry out the beads. Monthly oiling with light oils such as olive, sunflower, or coconut oil may help maintain the beads. Beads can be worn during rest, but remove them before applying soap or shampoo.
