Hi All,

I have been wearing one 5 Mukhi Rudraksha for a long time. Recently I got a few Rudraksha beads from a store. I noticed a sensation when I keep a Rudraksha within my palm. Is this a reliable way to test authenticity?

Some practitioners feel a slight tactile sensation when holding a Rudraksha bead in their palm.

Traditional perspective:
- This sensation is symbolic and may support mindfulness during meditation.
- Experienced practitioners sometimes use personal sensitivity to distinguish beads for meditation or reflection.
- For most people, this method is subjective and not a definitive way to determine authenticity.

Note: Statements about “vibrations” or detecting bead power are based on traditional beliefs. They are not verified medical or scientific claims.

Some people use tactile sensation to compare beads, but this does not ensure the bead is genuine.

Traditional perspective:
- Each bead may have unique features, and personal experience can vary.
- True authenticity should be verified by physical inspection or certification rather than relying solely on tactile sensation.
- This method can be used as part of meditation or symbolic reflection practice.

Note: Statements about detecting power or life within a bead are based on traditional beliefs. They are not verified medical or scientific claims.

Some people suggest testing Rudraksha in milk: put the bead in a bowl of milk and observe after 12 hours.

Note: This method is a traditional practice and is not scientifically verified. It may not reliably indicate authenticity.

The milk test is one traditional home method for Rudraksha, but it is not a scientifically verified method for authentication.

Note: Statements about milk spoilage or authenticity are based on traditional beliefs. They are not verified scientific claims.

Another suggested method is boiling the bead in milk for 10 minutes. Observe if the milk changes.

Note: This is a traditional practice and is not scientifically verified. It should not be relied upon as a definitive test of authenticity.
