Current Rudraksha mala is going to be changed. Will i give that mala to my son ?

Sir,  

I have been wearing a 5 Mukhi Rudraksha mala. Recently, based on my astrologer's suggestion, I plan to wear a different mala with beads of various faces.  

I am considering giving my old mala to my son. Since I will no longer use it, it seems like a better utilization.  

However, I am uncertain whether giving it will reduce its efficacy. Please advise on this decision.

In my opinion, Rudraksha beads form an energy connection with the first wearer. Continuous wearing enhances this bond.  

If a mala is given to another person, it may not provide the same effects, as the energy is initially linked to the first wearer.  

Only in cases of very powerful beads, such as 1 Mukhi Golakar or 21 Mukhi Rudraksha, can it be given to family members. Even then, the new wearer should wear it for an extended period to experience its effects.
