Rudraksha on waist

Hello, I received a recommendation from OmmRudraksha to wear a Rudraksha around my waist. I have a few questions regarding this practice. Should the beads be worn above the navel or below it? Also, will the Rudraksha beads around the waist be more prone to wear and damage with daily use?

Dear Mehul,

Rudraksha beads are generally durable and not easily damaged. Once dried, they become hard, and normal daily use typically does not affect their quality. Sometimes, Rudraksha beads are recommended to be worn around the waist, and most people can do so comfortably.

While wearing beads on the waist, there may be occasional discomfort, but if the beads are strung properly and securely, they can be worn easily and comfortably. For traditional practice, Rudraksha beads are believed to work best when they touch the skin, so it is suggested to keep them in contact with your skin. You can wear them around the waist according to your personal comfort.

In many cases, Rudraksha beads are worn above the waist to help with emotional balance. However, wearing them around the waist depends on personal comfort, and whether they are above or below the navel is generally not critical.

As previously mentioned by Rashmita Nayak from OmmRudraksha:

"Rudraksha beads are generally durable and not easily damaged. Once dried, they become hard, and normal daily use typically does not affect their quality. Sometimes, Rudraksha beads are recommended to be worn around the waist, and most people can do so comfortably.

Here’s the **corrected, SEO-safe version** of your post, ready for copy-paste:

I have also read on some websites that Rudraksha beads should not be worn around the waist. This claim does not seem convincing. According to traditional beliefs, the symbolic power of the beads is thought to work positively when worn on any part of the body that is comfortable and suitable for the wearer.

There are many traditional significances of wearing Rudraksha around the waist. It is considered very beneficial and is recommended in holy scriptures for penance and responsibility.

Personally, wearing Rudraksha on the waist has helped me feel great, supported digestion, and provided emotional and spiritual balance.

I would like to see some Rudraksha products that can be worn on the waist. Are there items displayed on OmmRudraksha that are specifically designed for waist use or can be worn directly on the waist comfortably?

Currently, we do not have rudraksha products specifically designed for wearing on the waist.

On request, we can customize beads to be suitable for wearing around the waist.
