A pyramid collection can contain quartz, volcanic glass, gypsum, salt, clay, metals and adhesives. Those materials do not share one safe bath or polish. Begin with the identified body, treatments and construction. When those are uncertain, gentle dry dusting is the conservative first step. Ask the supplier before adding water, heat or chemicals.

Handle by the base
Move one piece at a time over a clear soft surface. Support the full base and avoid pinching the apex. Remove loose grit before wiping a polished face. Keep the object away from a sink edge or a crowded table where it can be knocked. If a point chips, treat any fragment as potentially sharp rather than continuing normal handling.
Stone and glass routines
A sound identified quartz carving may permit a gentle damp wipe and drying, but fractures, filling and coatings change the decision. Use extra caution with soft calcite and fluorite. Keep gypsum and salt dry. Avoid steam, ultrasonic cleaners and sudden temperature changes for mixed or uncertain carvings. Do not use abrasive household pads to restore shine.

Metals and artwork
Copper and brass surfaces may be lacquered, intentionally patinated or decorated. Polishing can remove detail or the intended finish. Start with a clean soft cloth and follow instructions for the actual surface. Keep acids and salt residue away. Painted or gilded symbols need separate care from the body, and grooves should be dusted gently without scrubbing.
Packing for storage or a gift
Use individual padded compartments. Support around the point so pressure is carried by the packing instead of the apex. Keep metals and dense stone edges from striking other pieces. Pack only dry objects and label mixed-set components so the next owner knows the care differences. Store away from dampness, heat and prolonged strong sunlight.
Questions about ritual cleaning
Must a carving be washed in salt water? No universal requirement justifies risking the material. Is dry care spiritually inadequate? That is a matter for a chosen practice, while damage from moisture is a physical concern. Can a soft cloth replace a cleaner? For ordinary dust it is often all that is needed.
