Designing an Eight Directions Gemstone Demonstration Kit

An eight-direction demonstration kit needs more than eight colours. It needs a clear orientation, a material list, a repeatable layout and a transport system that preserves the labels. Designing these parts together makes a useful teaching object without presenting a tabletop exercise as an instrument for measuring room energy.

Fix the reading orientation

Place North at the top of the printed board and label the seven remaining compass positions clockwise. Show a small orientation key on every related sheet. The board is a tabletop diagram; a separate process is needed to establish the directions of a real room. Do not let the reading orientation imply that the page itself detects North or validates a property assessment.

Choose and disclose the assignment

One original decorative convention uses green aventurine at North, clear quartz at North-East, amethyst at East, carnelian at South-East, red jasper at South, smoky quartz at South-West, rose quartz at West and sodalite at North-West. Explain that this is a designed sample sequence. If a practitioner uses another traditional mapping, attribute it and revise the complete documentation before presenting it as the kit’s method.

Plan the paired sample system

Sixteen stones provide two samples per direction. Use paired cell identifiers and a separate board so the case can remain a transport tool. The extra sample can support side-by-side observation; it is not a guaranteed spare replacement service. Make the board positions large enough for the actual inspected stones, and keep the dimensions on the procurement sheet separate from measured stock facts.

Run a complete demonstration

Count the samples before starting, place the pairs according to the written guide and verify the clockwise order. Photograph the arrangement for teaching notes. Return each pair to its numbered cells and check the inventory again. Clean the board separately from the stones and store everything dry. Successful reassembly shows a well-documented kit; it does not demonstrate a scientific Vastu correction.
