How Do Rudraksha Beads work ?

          The rudraksha are ancient vedic beads of power and they work with touch, sight, worship or possession. So you have to carry or hold them or keep them in your pocket or at altar for worship.

          The word 'rudraksha' has its origins in the two Sanskrit words "Rudra" and "Aksha" which means "tears of Lord Shiva". As regards the origin of rudraksha beads, it is said in the Shiva Purana that Lord Shiva meditated for thousands of years and when he finally opened his eyes he saw that humanbeing was in a deplorable condition, and hot tears rolled down his eyes and fell to the ground and mother earth gave birth rudraksha tree.
